Getting Fit Is A Lifestyle Choice - Part 6

Make It A Team Effort - People, kids included, are more likely to stick with exercise and activity if it involves a social component. Team sports and group activities, such as a gymnastics class or karate, are great examples of ways to keep your kids fit and give them opportunities to meet other kids and socialize with them. When you know others depend on you, and vice-versa, you are much more likely to stick with an activity. When your child commits to playing baseball for a season, the team depends on him, you and he know that is a regular activity that will take place at a certain time each week, and will show up except for unfoseen emergencies such as illness. Even getting together with the neighborhood kids to ride bikes is an easy way to be sociable and active.

The award-winning Exploracise Gymathtics Series, in conjunction with our other great products, by Exploramania is a great activity to do in a group setting. The whole family can participate or the kids can do it as part of a play date. Make it fun and sociable and they will do it and stick with it.
